Here are all of my notes for this project. It was an easy knit, but I didn’t find the pattern to be written too well for my simple brain. Hopefully my re-written version will be helpful to you. You should be able to make the entire shawl using my notes, assuming your mind works like mine does.

I modified this shawl design to make it larger than the pattern calls for. Notice my shawl has five of each color triangle, but the pattern has only four of each color. I did this because my gauge was 4 stitches per inch, not the 3 stitches per inch specified in the pattern. I also executed a Wrap & Turn (W&T) in every short row at the turn-around point. The pattern doesn’t call for this, but I didn’t want any holes at those points. I did not bother to pick up the wraps -- I’m too lazy and it doesn’t detract from the overall look of the shawl. I didn’t cut any of the yarns until the end of the project. To start a new triangle with the DC, I left about a 10-inch tail dangling from the last DC triangle (uncut). This forms a yarn ‘loop’ dangling at the edge, and after I was done with the whole shawl, I clipped and knotted each one securely.

Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky in two colors:
Light (LC) buy 2 skeins and
Dark (DC) buy 3 skeins

Needles:
U.S. Size 10.5 32” and 47” circulars
Plus stitch markers

TRIANGLE #1
Using LC, cast on 3 sts.
KFB, k, KFB
Continue each row this way, doing KFB on the first and last stitches of each row, until there are 13 stitches total. Do not break LC.

TRIANGLE #2
Using DC:
KFB, knit 11, KFB (15 sts now). KFB, knit til last 3 sts, W&T, PM, knit, KFB in last stitch. repeat from ten more times. There will be 37 stitches. KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut DC.

TRIANGLE #3
Using LC, KFB, then knit til last 5 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 4 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 9 More times. There will be 61 live stitches at this point. Switch back to DC and KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut LC.

TRIANGLE #4
Using DC, KFB, then knit til last 7 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 6 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 9 More times. There will be 85 live stitches at this point. KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut DC.

TRIANGLE #5
Using LC, KFB, then knit til last 5 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 4 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 10 more times. There will be 111 live stitches at this point. Switch back to DC and KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut LC.

TRIANGLE #6
Using DC, KFB, then knit til
last 7 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 6 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 10 More times. There will be 137 live stitches at this point. Switch to 47” circular at this point. KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut DC.

Using LC, KFB, then knit til last 10 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 9 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 11 more times. There will be 165 live stitches at this point. Switch back to DC and KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut LC.

Using DC, KFB, then knit til
last 12 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 11 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 11 More times. There will be 193 live stitches at this point. KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row. Do not cut DC.

Using LC, KFB, then knit til last 10 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 9 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 11 more times. There will be 221 live stitches at this point. Cut LC. Switch back to DC and KFB, knit, KFB, removing all stitch markers along this row.

TRIANGLE #10
Using DC, KFB, then knit til
last 12 sts, W&T, PM, knit til last stitch, KFB. KFB, knit til 11 sts before marker, W&T, knit til last st, KFB. Repeat from 11 More times. There will be 249 live stitches at this point. Cast off all stitches, removing the stitch markers along the way. Clip the DC tails, form knots, weave in all ends, and celebrate -- you’re done!
