I loved the pattern of this one, but the style of Hazelhurst much more, I felt it was much younger and practical; I’m not really one to wear extra wide cowls draped carefully on my shoulders, as modelled in the photos!

Stash fiasco meant that this was going to be super short. Too long just to shove on but if I’d wrapped it round my (overly large) head it would have suffocated / strangled me.
The people at Rowan have sent me replacement stash, albeit a completely different colour and, I suspect, a vastly different gauge. Do I unpick the whole thing and then alternate rows? Or do I simply complete the same length again, only using the new yarn. Stupid question, really.

Mum bought me approximately 20 darning needles for Christmas and a box to put them in. After weaving in, blocking etc (yes, I block now and everything!) I get two good wraps with a bit to cover my buzzies and three wraps (without strangulation - bonus!) for when I need it. And when my buzzies are already suitably covered, naturellement!
