Christmas Knitting at home - plenty of time sat watching tv and drinking a wide variety of beverages.
I also like doing the sleeves first! This could be A Thing.
Love the pattern, would like to try out different colour ways. I may change my mind when it’s done.
Also, three yarns at the same time - what a fucking faff

Sleeves are DONE!! How’s THAT for never doing sleeves?!?! Onto the body next and then that lovely yoke. Still not decided on what combo of yellow/beige/brown I’m going to do - I’ll figure it out when I get there
I also “solved” the three strand faff - two CC in left hand, MC in right hand - BOOM

And we’re onto the body!! The fatigue I’m feeling is probably what I feel when I’m facing sleeves. Ugh, why is the body so biiiiiiig???
Sleeves turned out to be quite close fitting, will try to fettle when I block. Loving the pop of bright yellow, it is very satisfying.
Coming to the conclusion that I’ll always have to hand wash this, single spun, lofty, sticky lopi-esque yarn makes for felting like a bugger…

Argh that yoke is within touching distance… just in the final rounds to get the front up to 16” and then YOKE TIME.
In other news I need to get another way of doing short rows, w&t looks so fucking awful in the round. Tried ysolda’s tip but it still looked bollocks. Pfffft. Need to play around with some swatches….

Tried German short rows - they do look better than w&t in the round not sure it’s the answer to my prayers/out loud cursing but it’s a step in the right direction.
Onto the yoke now! Bit of free styling with the colours as I’ve not got the specified billion contrasts. I love the designer’s work - I’ll probably do another of hers when I’m in the mood for another yoked sweater

It’s done! Used the instructions below for the bind off, found the ones in the pattern a bit confusing, probably because it was all in one paragraph and I always find that formatting difficult to read as I’m a scanner :)

It’s done and it’s on!! Yay! Husbot in waiting will hopefully take some better photos on our walk :)
The sublime is, well, sublime! It’s really nice next to the skin; I was worried it was going to be super itching. Slightly concerning - soaking and lying flat for two days encouraged some ends to felt together! Nothing I couldn’t handle but I am definitely going to have to handwash this bad boy. Which means I will never wash it.
