This will be a 5 foot by 1 foot rectangular shawl, knitted in garter stitch. I haven’t worked out how many stitches per row yet, but I’m doing that today (11 November 2011) as I’m starting. There’s going to be some trial and error as I figure that out.

I also purchased 6mm and 6.5 mm needle tips (with 60inch cable), and 20 ruby stitch markers from http://handknitter.co.uk in order to make this shawl. Both the owners of these sites have been fabulous in helping me with all of my projects. I buy all my yarn from Banyan Tree, and Georganne there helps me every time with calculating gauge and many other aspects of my business. I couldn’t manage without her.
