3/2 I’ve completed the fifth block and made minor changes to some of the patterns, adding rounds, changing colors, but mostly I have remained true to the pattern. I was way off gague with the tapestry hearts and added the checkerboard boarder. I’m substituting a light purple for some of rounds that appear brownish in pictures but is called green. I’m using a lime green where the pattern calls for blue. 3/8 The tunisian square has given me a hard time. I changed the pattern to stitches I could manage and built it out of those, but it takes me a while because I’m infinitely faster with a regular hook. The more I look at it, the more I want to go back and give the pattern another go as my block is out of scale with the rest. 3/11 Finished the Arrowhead block which did not have a diagram so I pulled 3 out every 4 rows I crocheted until I got the hang of it. 3/16 Completed Log Cabin Logs square off by one log color but left the mistake in. Unwound another Ltchen and Royal Blue skein today. Purchased Tunisian hooks in the correct size to rework the Tunisian square for $9. 3/22 Completed the reworked Tunisian square. I don’t usually do Tunisian and it shows. 3/29 Completed Woven Threads Square. 4/1 Completed Snow at Midnight Square. 4/6 Completed Dilly Dahlia. 4/7 Ripples on a Coral Reef. 4/9 Completed Intertwining Loops Square. 4/28 Over Under Square Completed. 5/1/2012 Zig Zag, one of the more time consuming ones, completed! Now to assemble and edge to have ready for Mother’s day! Border completed!
