It was October 30th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. I had an idea of what I wanted to do for Halloween, but I couldn’t find a pattern for the sweet crocheted Brain Slugs I saw on teh internets. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the body of the slug is identical to a cupcake top that I had crocheted over the summer. Going with my instincts, I went for it and it totally paid off. I made a single crochet platform for the bottom and sewed a hair clip to it to keep it in place on my head. Everyone at work complimented me on my nice hat. (sigh)

Hermes: On to new business. Today’s mission is for all of you to go to the Brain Slug Planet.
Zoidberg: What do we do there?
Hermes: Just walk around not wearing a helmet.
