I loved making the squares. Sewing them together, not so much. I wound up slip stitching it together after trying to sew because it just didn’t seem like it was going to hold together. I forgot to add an extra crochet on the corners, so it looked a little more rounded than I would like. Six months later, I decided to rip off the boarder and redo it so that it was pointier. Mission accomplished, but I was lazy and still haven’t weaved in the ends. When I first finished the project, I didn’t want my cat anywhere near it. Then I decided that I need to actually enjoy the blanket, and the cat is going to get on it one way or another. So now it sits on top of the couch, and that just happens to be The Kitten’s new favorite sleeping spot. Of course.
