Taking several pieces from patterns I dig and combining them for something uniquely me.

Starts with Violet pattern.

Knitting in one piece without the textures as defined by pattern.

Grabbed bottom ruffle as guide, but did not want the center accent as in pattern (again, one piece, not front snap). Also, opting for buttons up the back versus lace-up, though will likely use a small ribbon and still lace, just over buttons.

once at body, inserted some basic shaping.

worked a separate band using cable from under-bust band on Arabesque and grafted to top edge.

blocked out to size, then sewed buttons along both sides of back for lacing purposes.

Interfacing applied and corset boning sewed in to front to keep front ruffle as I want instead of pulling in.

9.28 - ended up putting in an accent panel on the back to lace up over that is the same yarn as my skirt accent. filled it down in and then carried to add another ruffle a la the skirt…it lines up and falls as a fourth tier ruffle on the back of the skirt
