2mm for neck ribbing
3mm for sleeve and hem ribbing
3.5mm for stockinette
4.5mm for colourwork
Worked a folded collar by knitting to desired length and then knitting together with the c/o edge

One sleeve and the body are bound off. I don’t know if it’s a circular yoke thing or if I did something wrong but it looks like there is way too much fabric at the back. My gauge is fine, the dimensions are matching the pattern, so I’m not sure what is going on. The only thing I can think of is that my hem ribbing might be too tight, so it’s pulling the body in too much at the bottom, making the torso area look puffy.
Going to block and try to stretch the ribbing if I can. If that doesn’t work I think I will redo the ribbing on 3.5mm needles

After some aggressive blocking the ribbing has blocked out perfectly!
Final measurements are giving me 7 inches of positive ease around the body, while the sleeves are a little more fitted. I’m trying to decide if it bothers me enough to block again and widen the sleeves to be more proportional. It’ll do for now though.
This was my first circular yoke and for future ones I’ll definitely play around with the shaping. There’s just a little too much material in the back for mu liking, so next time I’ll try redistribute the stitches when splitting.

Have decided I’m not happy with the fit. Either the sleeves are too narrow or the body is too big. First step in attempting to fix it is to block the sleeves to try and make them wider. They’re also too short so I’m going to cut into them, add an inch and graft back together.
The body is too long so I’m also going to cut into that, take off 2 inches and graft back together. There’s a chance it will still be too oversized for my liking but I don’t think it bothers me enough to rip it all back and redo.

Finally got around to cutting into the body today. I took off 2.5 inches just above the ribbing and grafted it back together. Blocked just the grafted area.

After blocking it’s clear the graft is a little messy, but I can adjust the tension by hand.
I can finally consider this jumper finished! I’m really happy with the fit and I’m actually looking forward to wearing it!

lol that most recent note was me trying to fool myself into thinking I was happy with it. One year later and I haven’t worn it once. Today I ripped out the sleeves to add 3 inches of stockinette and redo the ribbing on 3.5mm needles instead of 3mm so it’s not as cinched.
Will also redo the ribbing on the body the same way.
