My first socks!

The yarn is lovely to work with, smooth, bouncy, even though not so soft, perfect for making socks.
I finally mixed “Nice Ribbed socks”, “Basic Ribbed Socks” and “how to make socks” by Kotomi Hayashi.

March 8: Swatched and CO yesterday, so far so good.
Used German twisted CO method to get a sturdy edge.
Decided to combine 2 patterns: CO 60 (Basic ribbed socks) and began with 1x1 ribbing (Nice ribbed socks).

Followed “Nice” for heel flap (half of total sts) as it gives a sturdy heel. - 30 sts 16 sl st rows, started gusset with 18 knit sts, and followed the directions. Picked up 16 sts from both side of heel flap.
