18 Oct 2013 - Finished! I love how my wooden buttons look on this yarn. If I were to make this again, I would start with more yarn to make it floppier, because I like a floppy hood, but I had only 2 balls of this yarn and wanted to try this. I like it - I found that the instructions when creating the back part of the hood were a little hard to understand but I can’t specify where I got confused (not enough sleep..dur) so I think I may have made a small mistake as it seems a little offset or pouchy at the back but not that noticeably. I have yet to block and I am sure it will block right out. I like all the borders and seams - so pretty. I would likely make this again. The yarn is really lovely. You do need to be cognizant of not going through the ply when knitting when tired or in the dark. :)

2 Oct 2013: I found this yarn at a cute little shop I had never been to, while I was on a camping vacation. I saw it knit up in a baby sweater and it knits beautifully.

I am going to use KP circs size 8/24 inches for this yarn, with US 5 straight needles as secondary set. Pattern printed and likely casting on today as I am home sick with an icky cold and need something to do on the couch.

Also, totally excited to pick out some of my very own handmade wooden buttons for this.
