Love, love, love the way the trees look against the color-shifting yarn; this is 100% a hat that I will knit again.

Fact: Didn’t realize that I forgot a pompom until the photos were uploaded. That said, please use your imagination to a) visualize the fluffiest of poms atop this ‘un and b) remove the white cat hair. My bad.

The end result is a bit larger than I’d like - which wasn’t helped by the blocking, eek - but thankfully, Aunt Carole’s head is larger than mine. Note to future self: Use a smaller needle and knit less ribbing.
