My submission for the Holla Knits KAL - Summer 2015. Absolutely la-la-love this little top, which was incredibly quick, fun and gratifying, i.e., my favorite flavor of knittery.

Mods, Both Intentional and- Erm, Otherwise:

• After casting on, knit the first row and purled the second row before beginning the mesh.

• Re: the short row section - you’re not supposed to W&T, but by God, I did it anyway.

• Put far too much stock in my ability to memorize a simple pattern and knit the short-rows on a train. The end result? A very linear mesh, whereas the pattern has more staggered yarnovers. Oops. Ultimately decided that I liked my mesh and kept on meshing on.

• Long-term effects of my alterna-mesh: 1) I had to fiddle with the instructions for the front and back quite a bit, and 2) my short rows migrated to the side. That is to say, instead of front/back asymmetry? I ended up with left/right asymmetry. Because I’m amazing.

• Added a few extra inches in length.
