This one was a “pet” project for me. The idea was to use the Labrador pattern and adapt it to look like my Oliver (a Goldendoodle). I did the body and legs the same as the original pattern. For the ears I used the technique from PlanetJune’s alpaca pattern (since I keep Oliver’s ears long and curly), and I did the same for the lion tail effect. I also made the tail a little skinnier and longer than the Lab pattern, and added a chenille stem to shape it (again, learned from other PJ patterns). I’m pretty happy with the overall result, as a loose representation. :)
