My first project made with my handspun.
Mods: Not wanting a center spine I changed all of the centered YO’s to KFB and made all of the decrease stitches K2Tog, (ie: replacing the SSK’s with K2Togs). I got one extra eyelet row and one extra garter row out of my skein.

Next time, I plan to begin by casting on at least 36 stitches to make the whole scarf longer and thinner.

Newly spun roving from Colinette, I think I have 380 yards of 2 ply (that ranges in thickness from light fingering to worsted).

Bought in Pennsylvannia, this roving comes in a curiously coincidental color way “Honolulu.” I brought the roving with me on my move to Oahu and now knit it on my vacation to Kauai, Hawaii and Maui. I completed the scarf one month after getting my Ladybug, this was the second yarn I’ve spun.
