Fun, easy, engaging, well written and highly recommended…The changes in the knit stitches really held my interest. I estimate this took me less than 30 hours from start to finish.

20 Aug- cast on and knit the garter tab at about 5 pm, worked off and on through the evening to reach the end of section 3 by bedtime. Started using lifelines on about row 37.

NOTE: I’m using Knit Picks needles, so running a life line couldn’t be easier, just thread some crochet thread (or dental floss) through the hole at the end of the cable.

21 Aug- completed sections 4 and 5.

22 Aug-Today I enjoy getting my car serviced while I waited and knit sections 6 and 7.

23 Aug-Added two extra knit rows to give the ruffled edge a bit more length and to create a final garter ridge before the picot bind-off. This mod is consistent with the design and helps tame the tendency for the edge to curl. Blocked and finished
