This hat was a lovely quick little knit.

It’s more or less based on this pattern, with the following amendments:

1. I cast on 96 and knit it in the round

2. I amended the chart to include some extra colours, purely due to not having enough of any one colour

I used a set of hand-dyed 4-ply mini-skeins, supplemented with half a ball of DK merino left over from another project. For the mini-skeins I held two strands held together to equate (more or less) to DK and it worked out well.
