Notes

I made a Lego Judge Dredd for Sheridan’s 40th birthday a couple of years ago. 2017 is actually the 40th birthday of the comic 2000AD and I promised Sheridan I would make him a Judge Anderson to accompany Judge Dredd.

Anderson does not require the standard issue helmet as part of her uniform as she is a Psi-Judge and requires her head to be uncovered. Instead, to maintain the lego theme I shall be giving her a blonde bob using the Hallowig pattern.

To make the parts more secure but movable I shall add press studs to all joints. I’ve extended the legs by 10 rounds as the legs looked a little to short in previous versions of this project that I made. I even amended Judge Dredd’s legs so they are now longer.

25/01/2017 So far I have knitted:

  • Plug and face for Head, and have sewn her face onto the head

  • two arms

  • two hands

  • 1 x shield badge

I have embroidered the zipper on the torso and sewn her shield in place.

28/01/2017

Finished stuffing, sewing on press-studs and attaching the arms.

Almost finished her waist - just need to finish the second plug to secure to the torso.

4th Feb 2017
I’ve completed the entire body so all that I need to do now are her shoulder pieces and her hair.

For Hallowig section:
CO 48 stitches using long tail cast on. Rib as per pattern until length desired before the fringe …
