This is a great pattern! It has a beautiful and easy to do edging which gives the blanket a very neat, finished look. It’s an edging I will definitely use on other knitted items in the future. As much as I enjoy knitting this, hot weather has forced me to put it aside for a bit.

My goal was to find an easy pattern that would use up my yarn stash. This fits the bill. Although, as I work on it, and after seeing the beautiful colors used by knittingdream, I am tempted to do another in colors I select for it!

Update 12/30/17: finished on 12/21 and gifted this Christmas. My husband loves it and takes his weekend afternoon naps snuggled under it.
