This project was a test for both the dress and apron. I made modifications to the seasonal dress pattern and knit a long sleeve dress top down. I do like the finished look. I will try again making the sleeves a bit more loose fitting and adding more fullness to the skirt.

The apron was my own design. It wraps three quarters of the way around the dress and ties in the back. I did knit a second apron which is pictured on the left. It is more full but the flowers look like boxes! Scratch that plan!

I think I like the dress best without an apron…but it was worth the effort!
