This is a second version of my Ladybug Dress. A plain dress was knit first then I finished the design in both duplicate stitch and a small amount of crochet (flower stem). I do like this version better. The finer fingering weight yarn gave a neater finished look. Working in duplicate stitch is tedious but allowed for a bit more creativity.

A cast on of 96 stitches was used to create a full skirt. Decreases were made in the two rows before the waist to reduce to 36 stitches. The bunny was knit on 2.75 mm needles with Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in Latte 1773.
