This dress took a while but was great fun to watch as the skirt became a “gingham check fabric”. Using straight needles with the cast on row counting as the first row of the chart, I did a long tail cast on of 96 stitches and knit the first 3 rows in white and the next 4 in green creating four garter ridges before beginning the gingham check pattern. When the dress was finished, I embroidered flowers using madelinetosh tosh merino light yarn. I added scalloped trim along the hem by crocheting into the bumps of the bottom garter ridge as shown in the picture on the left. The trim pattern was done with a 2.25 hook and is as follows: sl st 1, sk 1, 5 SC into next stitch, sk 1
repeated across the bottom until done.

The bunny was knit on 2.75 mm needles with Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in Latte 1773.
