Notes

Both dresses incorporated the two color Royal quilt stitch which went very slowly but was worth the effort. For the border of the white dress, I used three colors. This video was very helpful in understanding the stitch, but this wonderful hat pattern was what I used to knit the dresses in the round. I did have to knit back and forth in quilt stitch on the purple dress when I switched to dpns near the waist, but only for four rows.

I was also tickled that my garter hem test on the purple dress worked….in the second garter ridge, I used two colors in addition to the purple to give the look of delicate flowers.

Both dresses used a cast on of 102 stitches since the Royal quilt stitch is an 6 stitch repeat. I followed my usual bunny dress modifications found here.

The bunny was knit on 2.75 mm needles with Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in Latte 1773.
