Peppermint twist! Christmas candies and candy canes!!! :)

I saw the free Bicolor Spiral hat pattern on Ravelry, linked above, and wanted to turn it into a peppermint candy dress. I used a cast on of 100 stitches, and knit the swirl pattern in the round until the dress was long enough.

I followed my seasonal dress modifications found here, however, for this pattern I knit in the round until the two decrees rows before the waist. It made for a smaller opening in the back of the dress but when a bunny loves her dress, she’s willing to squeeze into it. :). For the decreases I alternated the red and white yarn to best suit the swirl pattern.

The bunny was knit on 2.75 needles using Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK in Caramel.
