9/12/11: Originally, this pattern is for the Around the World Crochet Quilt. Now, I think I shall name it “Maybe Gauge Really Is Important”. Dear gods this turned into a nightmare! I cannot believe that it is so insanely long. While the join is really pretty, it adds massive amounts of square footage to the pattern.

My first plan was to make a King Sized blanket for the bed. My second plan was to make a blanket for the couch. This demonically long blanket was the result.

Not sure yet about adding on the border or not. Increased square size by one round.

Okay, changed the amount of blocks needed, got rid of the border, but kept the general pattern and added a few different colors so there were no repeats.
