A very belated wedding gift for my neighbours, Lauren and Cody. Last year’s throw blanket was also for them.

The pattern is very special because of Lauren and Cody’s two delightful cattos. I spend a lot of time with them, even taking care of them on occasion when Lauren and Cody are out of town.

I sized down my needle to 2.75 mm after knitting a gauge swatch. As others have noted, the pattern still knits up quite big! My estimate on how much yarn I needed was not accurate, lol, and I ended up having to order more.

This is also the first project to ever claim one of my beloved addi needles! The cable gave out under the strain of so many pairs of stitches. RIP.
