I guess I’m on a slipper kick?

I really like this pattern. I knit a pair for my friend Amanda first, since I was pretty sure the pattern as written/sized wouldn’t fit my big feet. Once I had the pattern down, I knit it over larger needles with aran weight yarn and it fit me.

The only change I made was knitting two extra rows in pattern at the very beginning of the chart for the top of the foot (one extra alternating row, one extra solid row before the flower/star starts). This added just a tad more length.

This was my first time doing double crochet, so that was a neat skill to learn!

Now Amanda and I have matching slippers to wear when I’m over at her house for our weekly Doctor Who Sundays. My life is pretty good.
