Two years ago I made my coworker Jessica a baby blanket for her first little one. Well, she is pregnant again, so I figured a second baby blanket would be in order.

I wasn’t sure about this pattern at first. It’s so simple and somewhat plain. Yet it grew on me, and I think the baby will love the texture to it. I think the photos on the pattern page influenced me to go with a bold orange colour. I’m very satisfied.

I used slightly smaller needles because my yarn was worsted instead of aran, but I don’t think the blanket has suffered for it.

Final measurements after blocking: 90 x 64 cm
