I have reached the halfway point!! It’s all “downhill” from here, in the sense that now I’m knitting the same pattern, just in reverse order.

I finished this after some marathon late-night sessions last week, but I wanted to get it done so I could start a new, smaller project for during a vacation.

I broke my arm on June 3 and wasn’t knitting from then until about mid-July, so that considerably delayed finishing this blanket.

I used a selvage stitch on either side, so added a pair of stitches on either side, per Alasdair Post-Quinn’s helpful instructions for flat double-knitting.

Other than that, I basically followed the pattern as charted. I’m amazed at how few mistakes I have in the final product! This is not a difficult pattern. It’s just tedious and attention-needing.

Final measurements: 4 ft by 5 ft 3 inches, or 1.2 by 1.6 m!
