I intended this to be a headband, but it came out a little too big. I made the Medium size, but the yarn is on thicker side of worsted/aran weight and I used a hook one size larger to accommodate it, so the end result was a little bigger than the Large size. It would work well for someone with a lot of hair, but for most people it would probably be too loose to stay in place. It does work wonderfully well as a cowl, and now I have a nice sized swatch for the yarn/hook combo, so no harm done.

I started with 69 fdc instead of chaining 71 and working one row of dc to make the beginning edge stretchier.

Body: I hook (5.5mm)
Trim: K hook (6.5mm)
