going to make another striped hat via helical knitting

11-17-2025

finished brim and turned same way as with my last helical oslo hat

messed up a little with knitting the CO sts together for the folded brim…I think the helical knitting is confusing me…but it looks fine so just going to leave it…

finished hat, will weave in ends and give it a block tomorrow

had an extra st somehow when starting decs (probably accidentally knit the turning st for my GSR turn as two sts…), so did an extra dec rnd to get to the right st count + an extra just knitting all across rnd before starting decs

also somehow had an extra st when finished w decs…so just did an extra k2tog to get to 8 sts before finishing up the hat
