going to use the same size needles (US 2½ - 3.0 mm) for ribbing and the rest of the glove, cuff is too uncomfy if I go down a size, and don’t want to go up a size for the rest of the glove

for outer hand decs:
R1: according to pattern
R2: K all
rep R1 and R2 set total 3 times (for a faster dec rate and fewer overall rnds)

for outer+inner hand decs just did a total of 3 reps of the new R1 + R2 set (for only 16 sts remaining at the end to kitchner st)

21 rnd pointer (counting from picked up sts)

kitchner stitched pointer closed instead of doing what the pattern says for a slightly boxier look to match the main mitten body

16 rnd thumb (counting from picked up sts)

also kitchner stitched thumb closed

finally gave them a wash and block, though did get to use them in the surprise snowstorm and they were very warm!

great stash buster! literally used the entire skein of sisu (leaving only less than 1 g!)

for next pair will definitely be shortening the palm (small hands) and will not have to play such close yarn chicken

maybe will try a twisted rib for the cuff next time so its slightly tighter w/o having to go down a needle size
