I absolutely adore this sweater! The style & fit are just as I had hoped & the colour is perfect for Autumn.
I had long admired Kirigami, however I was apprehensive about the generous neckline (I have a broad back & shoulders & I don’t generally like to draw attention to them). I am so glad that I finally took the plunge & knit the sweater - I am thrilled with all aspects of it, including the neckline.

I like a very tight knit fabric, so I knit my sweater at a tighter gauge & went up a size to achieve a 36” bust (3-4” positive ease). I also knit the body of my sweater 15” from hem to underarm and I worked the neckband with 2.75 mm needles (due to my concern abt accentuating my shoulders).

The pattern was error-free and very easy to follow and Arbor was, as ever, a delight to work with. I’m so pleased with this sweater!

After speaking of knitting an orange sweater for Autumn for the past several years, I am finally following through. Butte is a perfect burnt orange and I am glad to have finally made the time to work with it. So looking forward to wearing this piece!
