The K4 P2 side produces a diagonal cable effect without any cabling! I love this side! The edges are tighter due to the garter stitch. Next time I'll use seed stitch. The color in this photo is most accurate.

12 rows garter for border, should have been 14 for better match to sides.

First photos are when I reached the end of 2 balls.

Loving the way this turns out, especially the faux cabling effect! I would consider that the front of the blanket, but both sides look great and won’t curl.

September 18

At the end of the 3rd ball, total dimensions are 24” wide and 22” long, including edges. I want the final blanket to be roughly 28” long. i will continue for 7 more ‘blocks’ of 4 rows, then work the upper edging.
