This is the third baby blanket I’ve knit this summer/fall! I’m finally getting into my groove with my favorite yarn, needles and stitches for these blankets.

Berocco Vintage Chunky - 4 skeins
5mm needles
appx 115 stitches

These details give me a blanket around 24” wide, with the thickness and stitch density/definition I want for a cold weather blanket. The 4 skeins gets me to around 28” long, then there’s enough left for a hat.

I tell the mom to machine wash, tumble dry on low. Seems to work just fine!
