Baby boy Kumley #6 is due in the next couple of months, so I’m starting now! I plan to make this blanket car-seat sized, so only about 24” wide in the pattern, plus the edging.

I’ll chain 66+2 to make it appx half the width of the original pattern.

Finished last night while listening to senior theses at school! It’s perfect!

I made the mistake is leaving all my ends out on the one side - I should have worked over then as I went. I tied 2 together, trimmed all to 2” then worked over then with my edging rounds. The little ends stick out all over the place, but it will have to to.

For edging, I continued my last blue row around for 2 rounds of blue sc, then one round of white.
