Notes

Started the hat Wednesday night after supper, worked ALL DAY Thursday and it was washed and blocking at bedtime. I plan to do the pom (gold & black with a little white) at lunchtime Friday.

I did the hat, then duplicate stitched on the Gustavus piece - much faster and I didn’t have to carry the gold all the way around the hat or do intarsia.

The three drawings are what my son sent me for his wish list for the hat he envisioned.

Gauge after washing swatch was 4.5 sts per inch
