I really enjoyed following this pattern - I relied mainly on the charts once I got past the first few rows, especially where I was unclear about the instructions. The charts are best viewed on screen or in colour print outs if poss.

I used a 4mm hook and didn’t quite make it to the very darkest blue in my whirl cake. (I think my tension is usually on the tight side.)

I think there are a few minor errors in the written instructions ~ but one in particular ~ stitch count at row 32 should be 2x150 stitches.
