Notes
  1. I loved this piece … in LOFT!
  2. Can’t imagine knitting it in the heavier SHELTER …
  3. The drape of the fabric on a 4.5 mm is delicious and the yarn bloomed beautifully …
  4. I got about 5sts to the inche blocked … followed the stitch and row count for the third size to get the outcome for the first size … wouldn’t change too much … ehhh … a touch longer for piece c and then a and b too … but that is minor.
  5. Of course I furiously knitted this and the LOFT was not too kind on my hands and wrists …
  6. This is a knitters yarn … not for the faint of heart and not easy on a continental/combined knitters wrists and arms … it is quite stretchy and bouncy and will break when wrongly poked … LOFT is capricious … it breaks easily when you need to and will spit splice like a beauty! at the same time it sustains a gentle and decisive consistency on the knitting tension without complaint … most interesting indeed … it takes some care for seaming as any tweedy/wooly kind of yarn will … all these are things that should be written between the lines of the very meticulous and detailed instructions from the master of wool Jared Flood.
  7. I just might give this pattern another whirl in a yarn that yields more drape … for quite certainly that was the intention originally …
