  • CO 90sts with long tail cast on with 4.5mm needles
  • 7 rows twisted rib
  • 8th row switch to 5mm needles then start short rows for front and back
  • did 6 raglan increases with a rest row in between each increase round as the armscye was quite short due to my smaller needles
  • cast on 4 sts under the arms
  • 172 sts on body
  • 47sts were on hold for sleeves
  • picked up 7 sts (4 cast on and 3 in the gap - 1 extra at the start and 2 extra at the end) and decreased 2 in first round and 2 in next rounf down to 50sts
  • knit one more round even on 4.5mm needle and then knit 5 rounds twisted rib on 4.5mm needle
  • gauge 17sts and 28 rows
