Notes

I initially thought that it would be a quick transitional project but it took me much longer time to finish than expected. Just in time to gift it.

Agree with other knitters that the pattern could be clearer, otherwise it’s a nice and cute design. But I would not recommend it to beginners.

Notes to myself:

:: For the split at the yoke, it should read: “On the next row, cut the yarn and slip the stitches of the first sleeve and the front back body until….”

:: The notes of igloolily on stitch count is helpful.

:: For the collar of the front flap - start from the bottom left but on the WS, pick up and purl 8 sts and purl across the live sts and then pick up and purl 8 sts of the other side. On the next row, start the ribbing. It may seem obvious to others, but I got stuck here for some time.
