This was the most difficult project I have done to date. The finished shawl is beautiful. I was able to use the charts for sections 1 and 2 but relied more on the written instructions for the 3rd section.

I used Zealana Kiwi lace yarn, but I doubled it, so it was actually more of a fingering weight. This was a great yarn for this project. It shows the pattern beautifully. This gift was to commemorate Heather’s trip to New Zealand so we chose a New Zealand yarn. I love this yarn and will use it again for another project.
