I came up with my joining layout. It resembles a 4x4 sudoku and was pretty easy to plan when thought of that way. :) It tells me which of the four star sizes to use, but not which square pattern. I’lll have to figure that one out as I go along.

I don’t have all the squares made yet, but I’ve started joining. Found a seemless technique that is looking good. (See pattern list.)

I have my first L-shaped piece done! Only nine more squares left to make, too. smiley I’m about halfway finished with this. ^_^
