SKILL LEVEL – QUARANTINE
At The NeedleTree

Our second spring 2020 KAL is another, more complex, project to work on while hunkering down during the Covid-19 alert season. This hat uses several interesting stitches for a really good thinker of a project. Sometimes you need to tune out the chaos and concentrate on your yarn! This hat can be done without a group class session, and KT and Catherine Paul will be available for FaceTime or other virtual assistance.

Antimony is by Elizabeth Doherty and is available on Ravelry for $7.00 I can do an in-store purchase for you if you would like. The pattern uses 210 yards of DK weight yarn and is offered in 3 sizes. I used Anzula Cricket for the shop sample and did not make a pompom.

You are welcome to use stash yarns and I have several options available for curbside pick-up. I am available via email, phone and/or FaceTime for help. Catherine Paul will also be available remotely by appointment. To enhance the sense that we really are knitting together, we will have forum threads in the NeedleTree Ravelry group - you’ll need to provide your own coffee and cookies, but let’s pretend we’re gathered around the shop table!

Skills required:

• cast on, bind-off
• lattice stitch, lifted increases and braid

Materials for workshop:

• 210 yards DK weight yarn

• 3, 5 and 7 16” circulars AND #7 DPN’s (we liked pointy tips for this hat!)

• 1 ring marker
