Wanting to try out the Chroma Twist Bulky and this seemed like a good pattern for it. Ordered the Prism pack which is only about 1000 yards, so that won’t make a blanket, but it might make a snuggly shawl.

January 2017:
Working with Prism pack plus Vermont.
CH 89 (multiple of 3 plus 2)

Row One: Begin with red, ch2 dc across (89 dc.)
Row Two: Ch 3 (counts as dc) skip one dc, 3dc shell in next dc, (skip 2, 3dc shell in next dc) across, ending dc in last stitch/turning ch from previous row.

Repeat One and Two, alternating colors for two rows at the color changes.

Things I’d do differently:
• Not use the Vermont as a transition between the yellow and the green. Instead I’d deconstruct the skein so it moved from orange with the red to yellow with the green.
• Do more than the two row swap; maybe make it four rows back and forth. Alternately, follow the Cosy pattern exactly and two row pairs of alternating colors.
• Start with a row of red and a row of red violet and then do the red, saving enough for a row on the other end in the red violet section.
• Maybe restrict the color palette to greens and blues.

This yarn is gorgeous.
