I love this pattern and I love this yarn which is pretty much crochet Nirvana. Using fingering instead of lace to try it out, but I can definitely see a lace version in my future. No idea what I’m going to do the border in (Corvallis maybe?) but the swatch is lovely, great drape.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to use the Blackbird for the second skein. Red and black are universal for winter, plus it’ll help me in Nerdopolis, not to mention I own three black coats. Yep, it’s gonna be Blackbird.

Ran out after the second row of 37 V stitches, only a few yards left. Gorgeous fabric. On to the blackbird now.

Tried the blackbird, too great a contrast for what I wanted. Somebody on the KP group posted a Hayden/Hood River shawl, and it looked great so going that way. Thank you very much, Somebody.

Took me awhile to finish this because I misplaced the beads I bought for it. Found them, finished it last night, wore it out today, love it. Great pattern.
