Picking this up as part of my huge 2015 WIP finishing, I’m going to end with a vintage trim, something simple. Most of them have fringe, but that might be optional:

Working this with one strand of lace and a C hook because I’m tense, I can do this pattern in my sleep (although I never follow it exactly), I had the alpaca lying around, and I’m hoping two skeins will make a shawl or at least a scarf although my stash list says I have four of them. Right now, it’s looking more scarf-like but it might block out much larger. It’s working up beautifully, very plain and classic, so I might give it to Mollie, who likes classic. Plus, she has a birthday coming up in two weeks.

Pattern so far:
30 plain 3dc rows
1 row dc v-stitch
1 plain row
2 v rows
1 plain row
3 v rows
back to plain, not sure how many rows I’ll do (10? 15?). A lot depends on whether I find the other two skeins of midnight.
