I wanted something easy and mindless to do with a ball of yarn that I’d wound and not labled. Turned out to be Madtosh Pashmina and not enough for a shawl, so I did a search for wool and sport in my stash and came up with Galileo. Added mesh rows because they make it easy to count stitches. Also not so boring.

Mods:
Do six rows per pattern in Madtosh.
Then five repeats of one row of simple dc/ch1 mesh (with the three dc increases as per pattern) and two rows of dc in Madtosh.
Then five repeats of one row of Galileo black mesh (sc row, dc mesh row, sc row) and one row of Madtosh dc
Then border in black Galileo. Confusing about how to begin and end and do mid-increases, but I’m faking it.
9 rows of border (4.5 repeats) in black, one hdc row in Madtosh (replaces sc row in border), one dc row in black, final hdc row in Madtosh.
