Sept 1, 2019: Crochet-a-long on Crochet Shoulder Wrappers. I only have two skeins of the Eliot, so I may end up doing a third color way as a contrast for the last skein.

Sept 2: Definitely going to need another skein, so I’m adding Portsmouth, which is a slightly darker version of the Eliot. They both look like old mottled brass (the Eliot’s more green and the Portsmouth more brown), and the lace section of this has a wrought iron look, so I’ll find some brass beads and go steampunk with this. The pattern is really easy except for the edges. The rows I learned right away; I still check the chart for the row ends every time. This is more a reflection of my inability to remember than it is of the pattern which is very clear with beautiful charts.

Sept. 6: I could only get 80 beads so I’m going to come up short but I’ll think of something. Love the way the Portsmouth and Eliot colorways are working together. Finally got a picture up, too.
