New photos taken to mark the 50% completed!

24th September: It’s cast off, grafted, seamed and all the ends are sewn in. It now needs some aggressive blocking, and then photos!

27th September: Oh dear. It grew some with the blocking…

I wish I had used a firm cast on/cast off with this, it has stretched an awful lot at the front bands, which aren’t constrained by the lace edging.

Ah well. Bought buttons today. Had to go with my third choice, the first two I chose the shop didn’t have enough of. Maybe tomorrow for those, then I can mark this as finished!
